RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY IN YOUR AREA OVERNIGHT

Please be aware, there was an attempt residential burglary in your immediate area at approximately 11:30-11:40 today Friday 05/09/2025 On Raikes Road SKIPTON.

The suspects did not gain entry and nothing was taken on this occasion.

officers are checking the local area now for any information that may assist us with the investigation.

Please check CCTV/Doorbell cameras, and contact us with any information you may have, big or small, this might be the part of the jigsaw puzzle that assists us in this investigation.

On this occasion it was an attempt but please ensure that all doors are locked overnight and windows are locked or on a latch. Please also remove any valuables from sight and it is advisable to keep house/cars key, wallets/purses, phones/laptops/tablets in the room where you sleep.

Your local police team are aware and have the area on their patrol plan.
